He was also voted the Country Music Association's Male Vocalist of the Year as well as Entertainer of the Year in 1971. There's a Little Bit of Hank in Me is a tribute to the great Hank Williams and has always been a favorite album among Charley Pride fans. Reviews of the album when released in 1980 praised Charley as being "a great interpreter" of Hank's songs.
